I purchased a brand new Sager NP9130 from LPC Digital about a month ago. After owning the unit for just a week, the spacebar became sticky. I contacted Larry, and he issued me a prepaid shipping label to have it sent to Sager for repairs. The laptop was shipped back to me last week with a note from the technician saying that they adjusted the spacebar. As of now, the spacebar no longer "sticks" but every once in a while it will emit a squaky noise regardless of how soft or hard I push the key down. The squeaky noise really bothers me when I typing documents or playing games online. Do you guys think I should send it again to have them adjust just one key or would it be safe for me to pop out the key and clean it?
Thanks.
edit: after further testing, it seems that the squeaky noise is emitted from the middle to right side of the spacebar.

Its possible that the squeak will go away with time. I had a problem where my spacebar sometimes wouldnt register that I pressed it. Now that I am in college and typing a lot, it has gotten to the point where it rarely happens. I heard of other people having problems with the keyboards and that pressing it a lot will some how fix it.
If you arnt happy with it, I would just send it back and tell them to replace the keyboard, or give you a new laptop. If you try and pop the key off, and it breaks, you're screwed. But hey, I am a total keyboard newb. -

I just got a new keyboard and the space bar was squeaky for about 2 weeks then it stopped. If it doesnt go away you can ask your reseller for another one.
