Hallo, I have a very important question for all the owners of these notebooks:
how loud are they if you compare them to the M570RU? I have unfortunately gave back the M570RU because it was in my opinion too loud. Many people here were saying that it was pretty silent, so I suppose noise is a very personal matter. That's why I ask you if the 9260/1 are more silent than the M570RU (this is the only way to have a point of referrement since I know the noise level of the little brother) . Has anybody of you had the chance to compare them?

Well it is very quiet if you don't manually turn the fans on full (Fn+1), but it has quit a hum when theyre on full, but it shouldn't make a difference, because you should be gaming with loud volume anyways! :p

umm.. most of the time my D900 fans are completely OFF... thats rite no sound... after like 20 minutes they may go on low which i cant even tell they're on unless i put my hand by the back to just feel a slightly warm area. Doesnt even feel like its blowing. And i purposely put on FN+1 wen i game... and wen your playing the sound it makes then isnt even enuf to overpower gameplay sound and music anyway.

Can anybody of you post a video with the normal and full speed? I would be soooo grateful!!!

I would expect quieter since the DX10 cards are 29W each and the 7950's are 45W each. That's quite a reduction in power.

lol getting a quad eats up that savings :)
