I know that there have been problems with drivers in the past. I also know that you have to press fn-f10 to get it to turn on. However, I have never heard of my problem before.

Today I decided to install windows xp x64 on a partition on my hard drive (which I am doing to see which os gets the best battery life. Vista, XP, and 7 are being tested). I installed all of my other drivers that I got off of sager's website perfectly. However, I am unable to get the d-max drivers to install. Specifically, it says I need to install Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 before I can install. I am running XP X64 so this shouldn't be a problem. Does anyone have any advice for getting this working?

I actually did try them all. I know its the d-max one though because thats the one I used for vista. None of the 3 choices work for me. Thanks for the help though, do you have any other ideas what might fix it?

When I tried to install the driver it poped up and gave me the normal screen. Then when I clicked install it said I needed to upgrade to Windows 2000 SP4.

I have never heard of this problem on these forums. Specifically that I am asked to upgrade to 2000 when I am running xp.

My camera is detected and is listed as "Usb 2.0" under device manger. Its got a yellow question mark because it has no driver.

Its just an exe. I think its because I am on XP X64 honestly.

Well, thats ok. Essentially all I need to do is find drivers that work for 64 bit xp. If anyone knows where to find those drivers let me know, but until then I will just have to boot into vista/7 to use skype.

Try the BisonCam one. That's what mine is. The drivers are flaky though. It will bluescreen sometimes when the camera is being accessed.
