I already ordered and received the RAM Upgrade for my 9262 that I ordered a year and a half ago.... wondering where the RAM slots actually are before I start taking it apart. Any info is appreciated...

The RAM is located near the processor. You will need to take down the cover with the fan holes ( bout 10 screws) and after you will need to take down the fan which cover the RAM. The whole procedure is about 10-15 min.
If you open the computer use this chance to clean the radiator.

When you have questions about the speed your RAM is running post back.

Does anyone know what the hardware RAM and hard drive (space) limit is for the 9262?

There is no hard drive space limit. The RAM limit is TECHNICALLY 6.2 GB according to the Sager sheets, but we have customers running 8 GB with all 8 GB usable.

    edited to add
And we do not have ANY customers with 8 GB who have reported less than 8 GB usable.

The 6.2GB was a chipset thing, that it could only detect up to that much memory. I believe it's fixed now (or can be fixed with a BIOS upgrade), so there's no problem accessing the full 8GB.
