    Hello -

I've had my Sager 9262 for several weeks now. I didn't have any problems until a week or so ago. Every couple of minutes, my screen goes blank. I have to push the power button to go into hibernation, then again to get my video back.

I have the Sager 9262 with Q6600 processor, 4 MB RAM, and the NVidia GeForce 8800M GTX Video card. Driver # 7.15.11.7490.

Anybody else run into this problem? Is this a known driver issue, or should I call Sager about a new monitor?

    Any insight would be appreciated.

    Mike

just curious do you use a microsoft branded wireless mouse or keyboard?? sounds stupid but these have caused this and other wierd issues like the system not going to sleep or the screen saver not working etc.. just a thought

check your power settings to make sure something has not changed them to turn off the screen after so many minutes.. again sounds stupid but worth checking

No Microsoft products, but I did add a Logitech Mouse about the time the problems started. I'll see if I can get a better driver for the mouse.

nah the logtech stuff doesnt effect it.. microsoft released a update for their products "hid update" so if no ms stuff no worries there.. have you made sure you checked the power settings?

Yeah, I unplugged the mouse and still had the problem. I did check my power settings, but I don't think that's the problem. The screen will go blank even if I'm actively using the keyboard. I'll change the entire profile in power settings to see if that helps. - Mike

Yeah, I've tried 'em all -- including the generic VGA driver. No joy.

Might be VRAM problem. Sager is going to send me a new video card.
