Can anybody tell me where to find wireless Lan drivers for my Sager 9750 (Win 7 64 bit). I just installed Win 7 and cannot get the wireless to work. I have looked everywhere and am about ready to trash this laptop. Thanks for your help.

might be a silly question but have you tried Fn + F11

cant find them on the clevo or sager site so have no idea. hopefully someone with the same computer might be able to direct you to where you can find them.

Is the wireless adapter showing up in Device Manager as an "Other Device"?

When you toggle Fn+F11, do you hear Windows 7 make a USB connect/disconnect noise?

If you hear it make a connect/disconnect noise, that at least means that the notebook SEES the wireless adapter, and if the notebook sees it, that should mean it shows up in Device Manager, as well.

That doesn't mean we'll be able to track down a Windows 7 driver, but it's a start, at least.

Sager used the following 3 wireless adapters with the NP9750:
    MSI 6833 802.11G
    MSI 6855B 802.11G + Bluetooth combo
    Gigabyte WI-9750 "Super" 802.11ABG

To my knowledge, they never released Vista drivers for any of these cards, but we may be able to track down some Windows 7 support if we know which card is in your system.

I had Windows XP installed before putting Win 7 on. The wireless was working correctly. With Win 7 the wireless adapter is not showing up in the device manager. When I click Fn + F11 I do not hear a USB connect noise. I appreciate the reply.

Hmmm. Out of curiosity, do you know if wireless was turned on in XP before you installed Windows 7?

I'm afraid that may mean there will be no luck for your wireless under Windows 7, as it should at least be identifying the wireless as an unknown device. Just on the off chance Windows 7 installed a generic driver, what devices are listed in Device Manager under Network Adapters?

The device that is listed is Realtek RTL8169/8110 Family PCI Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20).
