    Sager BIOS Question

    Hi, I'm new to this site, and I was just wondering if a few of you could help me out.

    My brothers fiance' recently gave me her old Sager NP8790 laptop. The only problem is, I'm currently having problems with the display drivers. I've gone to Sagers website ( www.sagernotebook.com) to get the most up to date drivers, but it says they require "System BIOS Version 1.00.10". I am currently running an older version of the bios, which would explain the driver issues I'm having with it.

    I've scoured the internet to the best of my ability and have been unable to find this BIOS version anywhere. In fact, my search for it has led me to this website, but alas I've only run across ancient broken links to people who hosted this file on thier websites a while back.

    My question is, will a newer version of a Sager BIOS meant for a newer notebook work for mine? Or will I have to find Version 1.00.10 as stated before? And by any off chance, would any of you happen to have that BIOS or a newer one that you could send me somewhere in your archives?

    Tried emailing them. Haven't gotten a reply yet. Hopefully within the next few days I guess...

    you da man, gophn....

    I posted a link to the sager np5680 on a website once for someone and left it on my server and when going through my server logs I still get a couple downloads a month...
