I'm trying to decide whether to purchase a Sager NP8150 from XoticPC or a Clevo P150HM from Malibal. I know that they are exactly the same system, just different branding. Brett from XoticPC directed me to this: Sager Notebook Sager Authorized Dealer | XoticPC Blog

The gist is that Sager branded laptop have higher priority during service than Clevo. Has anyone experienced this firsthand? Should this be a deciding factor when price is identical? Thanks.

well MALIBAL has MALIBAL branding not Clevo branding. Sager branding will most likely help you sell it easier though (when you don't want it anymore).

Our RMA turnaround time is as fast as any company. Also, it's not true that all Clevo notebooks have to receive parts and/or service through the same company - so companies like ours are not affected by any sort of "prioritizing" of brands ahead of other brands.
