Maybe this is a stupid question, but does Malibal use the same body/case as other Clevo resellers?
On their site the equivalent laptops look a lot nicer/cleaner, but its hard for me to tell if that's actually because the case is nicer or if its because they have a much better photographer.

They use the same barebones from Clevo.

Thanks. They should give their photographer a raise - the laptops look great compared to other Clevo resellers.

As Eldaren pointed out, they are the same models used by Sager (Clevo makes all of them- the name you get on it just depends on who you purchase through). The only really unique feature to each retailer is their logo on the back
And of course, you opt to get the back without a logo if you wanted.
Unrelated to the physical design, the Clevo models do not use the same Bios/EC that the Sager models do, so it's something to watch out for. -
What is EC?

The EC is the embedded controller. Typically the main function that most people are familiar with is fan speed control, but it does some other monitoring and such as well.
