Quick question for those of you who've received laptops with Windows 7..

1 - Is this an OEM version of Windows 7, or retail?

2 - Did you get the actual install media (CD/DVD, etc..)?

The reason I ask is that I need to install XP, which, the way I'm planning it will involve re-formatting, installing XP first then Windows 7 on top of XP.

My concerns.. If I get a retail version of Windows 7 and it gets activated with my license key, and then I wipe it and re-install, is Microsoft going to think I am trying to use it on two PC's and not let me activate it a second time?

From what I understand this problem is avoided with OEM installs since they're automatically activated and can only be used on the same brand/model computer?

    Gracias in advance.
