    Hey,

I'm planning to buy a laptop in the United States some time next month. I'm really interested in getting a Sager through xoticpc or direct from Sager's website. However, I'm a little unsure about the quality of the service and customer service.

If anyone could share some experiences of the customer service and repairs of Sager laptops, I would be really grateful.

Terrible, from what I've heard. Go with Xotic.

Through xoticpc the service has been 2nd to none.
Have had laptop troubles lately and all of them are taken care of now.
Seriously, the service was amazingly good.
Through Sager itself I don't really know but that's what your reseller is for. :)

Thanks for the kind words guys. Sager has good customer service but its usually recommended to go with a reseller as the others have mentioned. Beyond the customer service you also typically will get a better warranty and tech support availability is usually better.

Highly recommend a reseller such as xotic.. unless your ready for extremely rude/unhelpful customer service... at least from my limited experience with them...

Hmm.... You may want to look at the Reseller feedback forum and read through others' experiences in making your decision.

We have the entire subforum dedicated to that.

    ..Closing thread for now. ;)
