    ~ 250GB 7200RPM (Serial-ATA II 300) ( + 20 )
    ~ 320GB 7200RPM (Serial-ATA II 300 - 16MB Cache) ( + 30 )
    ~ 500GB 5400RPM (Serial-ATA II 300 - 8MB Cache) ( + 50 )
    ~ 500GB 7200RPM (Serial-ATA II 300 - 16MB Cache) ( + 100 )

I did some extensive research on 2.5" HDD before I recently bought mine.

As of late March the only HDD offered in 500GB @7200 RPM was the Seagate Momentus 7200.4, so Sager probobly uses that, or a variant of it at least.

Not sure what they use for the other ones...

I have a 320GB 7200RPM drive that is a Seagate Momentus 7200.3 - but I do not know if there are other brands used for that specific configuration.

This is correct, it is the 7200.4 Momentus which runs on less wattage than the 7200.3 by a bit. It should be a bit cooler as a result but that's all theory from my end.

My source is Justin W. at XoticPC for the make/model of the 7200rpm 500GB HDD. I didn't ask about the other options.

I believe mine is a Hitachi, not sure which model though. Tends to run a bit on the warmer side. :(

I don't get too caught up on HDD details anymore.
    SSD's is another story. ;)

The HDD brand/model will generally vary depending on what's in stock and currently used. At this time the 500gb 7200 RPM drive is a Seagate HDD, but this could change depending on stock availability. If you have specific questions on the other HDD's used, feel free to send me an email.
