    Sager Laptop Logo

    Hi folks,

    Q1: Has anyone seen a Sager Laptop WITHOUT "Sager" logo on top of the laptop!?!?

    Q2: And would it be harder to sell a Sager without that Logo?

    BTW, wouldn't the laptop look better without the logo!?!?

    I think you are able to remove it as well. Otherwise I don't see how people like XoticPC can do those paint jobs without the logo being there for the notebooks that are sent in specifically for the paint jobs.

    It is removable. And you can choose not to have it, XoticPc does that.

    You can get them from Clevo in different colours if you order more than 100 so I assume you can get them without the badge hole if you order enough.

    For paint we have a custom top panel made that's completely flat. They do look better with a badge than without though!!

    I dig my Sager logo, the word "Sager" is a cool color changing reflective material, and "Notebook Computer" is in a small, classy italic.

    OK ... after I saw the last few posts ... I decided to check on it also ...

    - Xotic said it comes from Sager with the Logo ...

    - then I called Sager customer service and he said the Logo does Peel Off easily and with no problem.

    ... And I like minkang's comment ... on possibly reducing the chance of someone being tempted to swipe your new laptop.

    If you choose a custom skin/paint job on the machine the logo would be removed/filled in. Otherwise you can just peel the logo off once you receive the notebook.

    ~laughs~ When I bought my lappy, I peeled off every single logo, sticker, and even remotely brand-related doodad before I even turned it on.

    I just hate advertising for others for free =) They give me a discount on my lappy, *then* I'll leave their sticker on!

    Hell, they drop the price enough, and they can custom paint it with whatever they want!


    I'm just weird that way, though :)

    Unfortunately it can not. When we do a fill for a paint job on the logo well, we use a filler and sand it down to make it smooth and flat with the surface.

    The best way to do it, is there are a few places out there that make PC Labels and could likely make one for your laptop. The only thing is that you will likely be purchasing such a small quantity of them, so the price will be fairly expensive. :(
