    Hypothetically I don't get a new laptop until the NP5160 breaks, how long is a reasonable duration of this device(or any sager laptops in general)?

    This is my first sager, but I've seen people that've had theirs for five or sox years with it still goin strong :) that's assuming your performance needs don't change by then

    I'd say it'll last as long as you take care of it (within reason). There's no reason for it to break down unless it's not maintained. Eventually you'll be able to buy better performance for 1/2 the price and you'll want to upgrade, but I could see my sager 8170 taking care of my needs for the next 3/5 years (with a few upgrades mixed in there)
