I have a launch M860TU and have been having troubles recently that cause me to miss type constantly. I cant go through a full sentence without having to correct it. I thought it might have been my keyboard so I bought and installed a new one, but it didn't help. I made a thread a few weeks ago with no results and I couldnt find it to bump it so I thought Id make a new one.
Is there any driver for windows 7 to get my keyboard working correctly?

    A driver won't make a difference.
The keyboard controller might be the issue here, or some kind of malware making the system not responding as fast as it should. Have you tested for malware or have you tried re-installing Windows to see if that corrects your problems?

I have the exact same issue. I've had to start typing slower.

I tried updating the BIOS/KB firmware, re-installing anything from XP to Windows 7, all with the same symptoms. I've even reseated the keyboard ribbon a few times, to no avail. I'm hoping someone out there has a fox for this nonsense.

I type bad enough on my own, without the help of an ornery keyboard.

Are you sure it's the keyboard and simply not you typing faster than before? You might not be pushing the keys down hard enough because you type very fast. I had a similar problem since the day I got the laptop, so I bought an external keyboard.

I know its the keyboard it doest matter how fast i type ever 70 or so characters my curse gets moved back randomly. and Yes I tryed reinstalling Vista and it didnt help so I moved on and got windows 7 and have the same issue and I know its not a virus or Malware because I have had this issue even with 2 full Hdd wipes. There used to be a driver I would install and it fixed it. Thought it was on the oringinal install disc that I got with the computer but now when I run the driver disc it says its not compadible with windows 7 so I cant use it and there isnt anything on the Sager site.

I know this sounds daft but.....

I had this problem before. It took me ages to realise it was the palm of my hand tapping on the touchpad and moving the cursor.

Disable the touchpad tapping feature and try to see it continues it may be something as simple and stupid as that.

If by chance does work then try changing the sensitivity of the touchpad.

Try Fn-F1 when typing to disable the Touchpad or go check your synaptics driver setting; you can change the pressure sensitivity and there's actually a feature called PalmCheck.
"The PalmCheck™ feature guards against operating the TouchPad with accidental contact. PalmCheck allows the TouchPad to recognize when your palm is resting on it or brushing its surface while you are typing. This will help to prevent unwanted pointer movement or clicks."
    Give it a try
