I just installed Vista this morning
    everything seems great

    except for the fact that
i cant seem to change the display to
    1900 X <I forgot>

    i can only display
    1024 X 768
    which i dont like :(
    Everything seems so squashed :(

I cant use the driver install on the cd that's provided
when i buy this laptop because whenever i tried
to launch the setup.exe, it will state

    Sorry!
Operation - System you are using is neither Windows XP nor Windows
    2000.

    Sorry!!
The Notebook driver Installation Menu only supports Windows XP and
    Windows 64-Bit XP!!

Anyways, i need help in this :(
is there any other way to get my laptop to display
    1900 X <whatever> ?

Get the X86(32.bit)drivers. The x64 drivers are for 64bit OS which you dont have
