    This is ridiculous
i cant seem to reformat my computer and going back to XP pro :(

whenever i acces my bios (F2 button)
it doesnt give me an option where
i can like change my boot order :(

i was wondering if there are other ways at all?
perhaps can i choose the option through windows or something?
    can anyone help me here?
been on it since last night~

there is an option for the boot sequence within the BIOS.

    its not there :(

here are the steps i did
when the com is on, i press F2
and then it says scanning device and then
Press <TAB> key into User Window

    So i did
and i accessed the BIOS mode

under the BIOS mode there are these options
    - Create Array
    - Delete Array
    - Create/Delete Spare
    - Select Boot Array
    - Serial Number View

but then when i press Select Boot Array
nothing happens, like i just press ENTER and keep pressing it
and there's no option at all for me to alter

here's the picture for better explanation

press F2 only, DO NOT press TAB

pressing TAB brings you into the RAID config BIOS.

are you using RAID drives, or are you using single drive configs?

make sure to disable SATA RAID if you are not using RAID.

if you are, then you must Create an Array (RAID-0 or RAID-1), Initialize it... then:
    - have the RAID drivers (included in CD and website) on a floppy
    - connect your USB Floppy drive to the notebook (with the RAID drivers floppy inside)
    - let the XP CD autoboot and and press F6 when it tells you
    - then choose the drivers from the floppy

Then the drives will appear for installation.

Its all in the user manual

my user manual's back in singapore :(

    hmmm
so i just access TAB again then?

as for the raid drivers floppy,
i brought the A: with me but not the floppy :(
anywhere else i can get it?

    as for the RAID,
    how do i disable/enable it?

    im assuming i went to
    1st - <TAB>
2nd - Go to Create Array
    3rd - Array Mode Raid 0 (Stripping)
    4th - Select Disk Drive
    5th - Start Create Process

    right?
but then it says that the data on BOTH drives will be destroyed
i dont mind it destroying my C:
i just dont want it to destroy my D:
    is there another way?

Ok lets try to organize this:
    1) here is the manual:
    http://www.sagernotebook.com/ftp/misc/Manuall_9750.pdf

2)*** here are the RAID drivers for XP (32-bit)
    http://www.sagernotebook.com/ftp/misc/D90K_RAID.exe

*** wait before doing any RAID arrays, have you been using two separate drives this whole time (C: and D: (or whatever letter))??
    - if so then disable the SATA RAID in the motherboard BIOS
    - if not, then WHY does the XP setup not see either drive?... hopefully do did not accidentally create an array with both drives (which would destroy all data on both drives).

Tell me what your preferred setup is. (RAID or no RAID)

At the start before TAB thingy appears
    it says

    Scan Device, Please Wait.....

    None Raid
    Serial_Ch0 Master: HTS54101G9SA00
    Serial_Ch1 Master: HTS54101G9SA00
Press TAB Key into user window

    that's all it stated

nah i havent created array yet
proof is that im still able to go into vista now

    as for my preferred setup
i dont care as of now :(
    whatever is more convenient~
    and yes i have been using separate C: and D: i suppose~

ok, go into motherboard BIOS and disable the SATA RAID

And try again. (no need for floppy drive and RAID drivers anymore)

    no no no....

thats the RAID BIOS.... I was talking about the motherboard BIOS (F2)

you disable the RAID within the motherboard's BIOS
