Hi, i ordered my sager np2090 without the sound upgrade option for extra money. Currently I have realtek drivers installed. I am really angry right now that the equalizer settings are only available in templates and not completely customizable. What do i do? Are there other drivers that can give me the equalizer controls? I went to the realtek site and there were several driver things, and I dont kno which to get. I remember I had AC'97 on an old comp and I could change the sound on that one, but would it be compatible with the np2090 sound device?

    Thx in advance.

I don't think so. Try changing the equalizer in Windows Media Player, Winamp, etc.

Try downloading the HD audio codec.
My equalizer works fine and it is customizable..I am on XP Pro, had to manually install de driver (avoid the setup.exe) from device manager pointing to the specific folder on driver CD. No need to update that driver...yet.
    Maybe you can try that.

Interesting... they might've just skimped on the Vista driver.

I only have the stock audio and the EQ is fully customizable. I'm on XP Pro
