Hi, Well I've had my sager for two years before that my brother had it 3. Now How do I find out what series it is cause the bottom just simply says NP Series with no number. I love the thing its reallly durable but it does need parts and I was hoping I can get some help with this topic please help me save my laptop I don't want to waste 200 a month on a new laptop with payment plans when my old one works aswomely.
Not to say this hp I am paying for is nice I want to return it and get my Sager back

Does it have Clevo number on the bottom anywere, we can tell what the Sager model would be based off that. If not on the bottom maybe in the BIOS.
-
the BIOS has the laptop model listed on the front page where the clock is.
-
5-6 years
any distinguishing marks. silver rim/orange rim around lid or base.
actually easiest way is download hwinfo64 or 32 from my sig below and it should give all the info you need. -

No no thats not it it only had the trim around the bottom not the screen. And it had the sage logo on the back of moniter would a serial number help?

Can't come up with anything from that number. A serial number may help but only by the place that originally sold the computer. Can you post a pic?

YEs let me find a camera that works

! a number pad on the left. dont see many of them.
still no idea. as i said earlier.
download hwinfo32 for 32bit or hwinfo64 for 64bit from my link below. it will give every bit of info you need on every part of the hardware. -

That's fairly recent then. You can find parts for that easy enough I bet on Ebay.
I would throw in a cheap SSD in there, maybe upgrade the CPU to a 920XM and see if you can stuff a GTX 660 or so in there. -
I don't want to do anything to destroy it. >.> Can you upgrade the processor I thought that was saltered into the circet board. WOuld best buy thought I ask here don't know if any of you know what best buy is. But would bestbuy beable to fix all the errors I am having? A clean windows install would fix all my errors? the problems all started with my intell drivers malfuctioning and not even windows update works.

The CPU is upgradable to any 1st gen core i, so any 8XXQM or 9XXQM/XM like Zymphad mentioned. What are the problems you're having?
-
Post a list of your problems so they can be dealt with one by one.
A clean install is never a bad idea.
CPU is def upgradeable, pretty sure the GPU should be as well.
Never, EVER, bring your computer to Best Buy. If the help you receive here is beyond your technical know-how, use google to find a local computer repair shop. That local, small business will care more about making you a happy customer than the $8-an-hour overpaid best buy 'geek' -

I think the 770M has a good chance of working, that with a 920XM would be a bit performance boost but it depends how expensive the parts are as to value.
