I have a Sager NP2090 and I want to make the computer faster by increasing its memory. Currently it's 2 GB
1. Whats the max memory that I can upgrade it to?
2. How many memory sticks is that? (Is it 2gbx2)
3. Will this even increase system performance? Usually when my computer is running a lot of programs at once, I check task manager performance and it looks like its taking up 100% processing power and not that much ram.

The max is 4gigs (2x2gigs) on that notebook, although you'll need a 64bit OS to take advantage of all of it, if you only have a 32bit OS, you'll likely only be able to use a little over 3gigs of it. If your not using all of your ram when your multi-tasking it probably won't increase performance that much. However 4gig DDR2 sets are very cheap, so I'd recommend getting it anyway.

Xhibit is correct 4GB is the max. Memory is cheap and you can never have too much memory.
You will likely see a little increase in performance. If you take the plunge to Windows 7 or Vista someday it can always use the extra Memory.

It's nice to see that people still have the sager 2090. I also still have my, I keep it only for the wonderful speakers it has. They are much better then any laptop I have ever seem.
If you want to make it faster then upgrade the cpu to a T8300 or a T9300 and the ATI 3650 gpu would also make it a nice upgrade too. Dont worry if tech support says that is doesnt support it, it will work, it works on my. -
Actually, someone in the Compal forums got the IFL90 up to 8 GB of RAM. A bit overkill for me, but it's possible.

so are all of these compatible? i'm not sure what to look for as far as compatibility
i'm probably looking for one of these two specifically though. (top for rating)
leaning towards the second one

Either of the DDR2's will work from OCZ/G.SKILL.
