22nd, I don't know about you guys but I jsut chose the cheapest shipping options, so 3-6 days for me lol. Wonder if that's counting weekends?

Nah, only business days. I hope someday XoticPc can work out some decent volume rates with fedex. 30$ For UPS ground is kind of steep.

NO, leave them out. They have SLi 7950s. They don't need this.

 

no no. 2090 is special just because of the affordable-ness of the new C2D and the 8600GT!

 

I have to agree. The price that you get on this notebook with the hardware is just killer. Really sets this laptop up in a class of its own.

Wait, I just noticed those benchmarks. Seems like the card is going to come to us seriously underclocked.

 

Yea, the 512MB DDR2 versions come clocked at ~ half the memory frequency. For a card that was already starving for bandwidth, that was a bad move.

Its worth noting that their test model only had 1gb of ram. Running vista we can say that really crippled the laptop. I wonder if the Vram can be OCed close to normal specs easily?

 

Not being able to get pass 4000 kinda sucks

 

But seeing that it is overclockable.. hopefully itll be ok...

Well, that's only if you didn't get in on the first shipment. I'm hearing that it's shipped yesterday for some.

 

Wasn't that just for the WXGA models? Supposedly the WSXGA models were supposed to come in a bit later...

 

Sager only received a few WXGA models that are shipping Wednesday of this week through Monday of next week.

Unfortunately if you didn't get one of those, there will be no more until early July.

I ordered mine on tuesday the 19th and still have the same status as you. Right now I'm just hoping that it is taking them a while to configure the models they have and ship them out. I really hope that I wasn't too late in preordering to receive mine in the first shipment.

 

ok, mine comes in tomorrow, got the call from UPS telling me so. i work 4:15am to 12:15pm (...starbucks...), think ill miss the UPS man? ill take some pics of the opening process and post mark06 if i can figure out how.

I ordered one as well. This is my first laptop as i will be going off to college in the fall. Im sure ill be on here asking all you guys all the simple questions as i am not too knowledgeable in the gaming laptop realm.

So you get a call from ups huh? Is this how you find out when/if you get it? WHen did you get this call?

Usual delivery is I think from 8 or 9 to 4:30. Personally I've never gotten a delivery before 12 in my entire life.

 

if you think you will miss it call ups and tell them to hold it at office so you can pick it up and then post LOTS of photos of unpacking, or possible a video

XoticPC.com gave me the tracking number Friday. UPS called me Sunday afternoon to tell me to expect my package Monday.

I have never gotten a call from ups before? Is this because of the value of the package? Or is this some extra UPS feature that's included in the shipping and handling?

 

I love the price and specs on this laptop, only thing that bothers me is that the battery kind of sticks out in the back. Is there a certain battery that I can get from the list in the custimization area, that won't stick out? Thanks.

I'd be interesting in knowing what Vista gives it in its "Windows Experience rating" in all categories.

Does the 2090 comes with GDDR2 or 3, or does anybody even know right now? I know there was concern that if it had GDDR2 it wouldn't be able to handle games very well. If this computer has GDDR2, I would be interested in knowing how waranted those concerns are.
