What vista cd's did you guys recieve in your box? (from xotic) i thought theres suppose to be a 64 ad 32 bit cd? i only see a sealed package with vista in it and a 64 bit bootup disc. then seperately i see a 32 bit boot up disk. im running on 64 bit right no. so i assume i should have a 32 bit vista install cd. wheres that at?

Not sure but i was under the impression that on the 64bit isntall cd there was an option to install it as 32bit...but if you only had a 32it install cd then thats what you are stuck with...idk...i am going to pick up my rig after work at the ups store.. :D

Mine came with two "recovery" disks, but they just function as normal install disks for 32 and 64 bit vista.

Yeah, my buttons light up when pressed.

Can anyone explain to me, at all, how the "Wow Video" and "Wow Audio" buttons work?

im thinking of ordering a 2090 with the following specs:
    T7700 - 2.4GHz
    2 GB Ram,
    the 8600GT
    the 160 GB 7200.
has anyone with the same specs experienced any problems concerning heat? thats my number one concern. i was looking at the asus c90s, but a recent review with the 7200 160gb HD said the left palm rest was a "furnace." i don't anything melting in my new sager.

also, to you guys who online ordered yours, is there anyway that i can pay for the computer a little a time, or do i have to have 1500 up front? if i need to have all the money at once, then i can't get a laptop. atleast one that doesn't fit my gaming needs.

Mine stays blue when I press it(therefore mute is on) and when mute is off its normal. Try removing and reinstalling the drivers from the CD.

Question: Is the touchpad supposed to scroll windows, using the right side of it, cause right now mine is not?

Question2: I went with the driver version 160.09 for the Graphics card and my windows graphic rating is 4.5 but my gaming graphics rating is 5.3....anyone know how or what would cause that to be so low?

I would contact the re-seller you are thinking about going with, I chose XoticPC (Justin W.). I doubt it but, it never hurts to try.

you were right, the driver wasnt installed. so now the mute light works. should of asked them what drivers they pre-installed when they shipped it.

    Well I've got the following:
    T7700 - 2.4GHz
    4 GB Ram,
    the 8600GT
    200 GB 7200.

And I've had no problems so far. Hopefully that might help, although perhaps the problem is only for the 160GB 7200rpm?

About the money issue, you should probably talk to the people you'll be buying from. I bought mine from www.powernotebooks.com, and they've got a great service. XoticPC also has a great reputation...

rex, yes, the fingerprint software (psqltray.exe) is a real pig for everyone who doesn't reboot frequently.

Has anyone else had problems with one of the speakers cutting out randomly, with no prior warning? I think it might be something I call in the warranty for, but I wanted to ask here to see if any of y'all knew anything about it.

If a speaker is cutting out, check your headphone jack for any debris, but you'll probably need to call in your warranty for it, because it sounds more like a short.
