I have posted to the "which notebook should I buy" thread that I am considering the NP2090, as well as the T61P and Dell D630. I need something that has a solid build which will last me at least four years. No-one has really commented on the NP2090 in the original thread and so I was wondering if anyone here can give me their opinions about the durability and endurance of the NP2090 as a mobile laptop (I am a grad student who will use this for class. conferences, multimedia presentations, and as a desktop replacement)?
Thanks![]()

i have ifl-90 (same as sager NP2090), seems like it will last, but who knows. electronics are a gamble- like buying fruit. i think a laptop, or any other computer for that matter, is only about as good as its warranty. want to make sure it lasts 3 years? get a three year (preferably in-home service) warranty. that's my advice.
having only had my ifl-90 for a couple months, i don't know if it will last for 4 years or more, but it has performed admirably so far. -
