My Sager NP2092 was delivered on the July 1st and I absolutely love it! I do have one quick question and a few quick thoughts:

    1) I've read numerous threads about how loud the fans are on Clevo-based laptops. Mine is whisper quiet. I've seen mention of using FN+1 to adjust fan speed in this forum - was that for a different model? I don't see anything like that mentioned in the PDF that came with the laptop. Mine is definitely NOT over-heating, but I'd rather find out now before it does.

    2) The built-in camera works great and the software was already installed and actually looks useful.

    3) The fingerprint reader works great too and so far, I have seen no excessive memory usage.

    4) Lord of the Rings Online runs silky smooth.

    5) Since I have an 8600M GT, do I need to be concerned about the Nvidia mobile GPU announcement?

    6) The laptop is better looking in person - the photo's on Sager's website do not do it justice.

    7) You can call me a new very happy Sager owner.

    1) The Sager NP2092 is a Compal barebones, not a Clevo. The fan function keys are only for the 17" Sager models built on Clevo barebones.
    5) No, you have nothing to worry about

    Hi El Chorizo,

Congrats on your new toy ...

Q1: What OS are you running on your 2092? And I suppose you had it installed by Sager ... right?

Q2: What is the Program for the Camera? Name of the Application and Rev. number?

Q3: Which Hard Drive did you get with it? the 320GB 5400RPM or 200GB 7200RPM one? And how do you like it?

    Thanks,
    G! :)

    Hi El Chorizo,

Have you downloaded "HWMonitor 1.10" zipped version and run it and see what are your Temperatures for the GPU, your 8600M GT?

    Thanks,
    G!
