University begins in a mere 3 weeks and a need has risen for some new laptops. Originally I planned on getting a Macbook Pro and just partitioning the drive with Windows 7 so I would be able to play some games on it (like Mass Effect, SWTOR, and Arma II). However I have stumbled across a Sager NP2096 JHL90 for about $400.

    It has:
15.6 in 1680x1050 resolution LCD screen
    2 GB RAM
    300 GB HD
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53 GHz
NVidia Gforce 9600M GT Graphics Card

So I have a few questions about the Sager NP2096 JHL90:
-For that $400, is it any good? I just plan on using it for gaming.
-What are some of the components that I can upgrade?

If I got this machine, it would stay at home as I do still plan on getting a Macbook for university. I can't use a tower as I need my machines to be mobile.

    So, is it any good?

...if it's staying at home, why does it need to be mobile? for $400, you'd get more bang out of a desktop as far as gaming goes, but you probably knew that already. you could upgrade the processor probably.. Add some ram.. by the time you do that, you're looking at $500 for minimal gain in performance.
