    Sager NP5175 Power brick failure

    I bought a Np5175 in october and for some reason my power brick (liteon pa-1131-07) has stopped working. The problem I am finding is that no resellers carry this models power brick and the universal that have 120w are to cheap to be true. what is the most viable aftermarket replacement that doesn't require me paying sager $80+ and waiting 2 weeks?

    If you only bought the machine in October, your brick should still be covered by the one year warranty at least. Have you tried contacting your retailer to get a replacement?

    A lot of the aftermarket adapters are flaky and can do more harm than good.

    Give them a day or two to catch up. Some companies may still be catching up (or are off) from Christmas. Hopefully they can take care of you before you have to go out and purchase another adapter.
