    Hi Everybody and Merry Christmas

I currently have a Dell Inspiron XPS (first generation), and the battery life of that machine is killing me (less than one hour). :(
While I love the machine, I am thinking about getting something else with similar specs but more battery life. Or at least a machine you can get a power adapter for airplanes for. The 150 watts of my XPS are still beyond anybodies offering.

I am thinking about getting a Sager NP5720-V, but I have very little experience with Sager. The machine looks great and the little feedback I got was positive.

Can anybody give me a bit more input? Any comments are welcome.

    Welcome to NotebookReview.com's forums. :)

I assume you are looking for a gaming notebook, seeing that you already have the Dell XPS. True - that machine has subpar battery life. I'd just like to mention that most gaming notebooks do not get more than 2-2.5 hours (I'm talking about boutique rigs, and uber-powerful machines).

In my opinion, one that is shared by many others, the Sager NP-5720 is one of the best notebooks you can get for gaming. In my Sager Models Guide, I have links to reviews of that notebook, you may want to read them:

    Cheers!

If your looking for a gaming machine the 5720 may be one to look and you should double the battery life. If your not a gamer the 5710 with a second battery will get up to 4 hours of battery life.
