Will this notebook be able to accept Merom? Im really interested in it, and if it is, it will definitely beat the dv8000t I had in mind. DOnt know much about the video card though, I think the dv8000t has a better video card, but I dont mind, since I will use it for music production on the main partition, and on the second one I will use adobe software/office/web and light gaming (civ 4, quake 3, warcraft 3). Thanks.

The video card will be fine for the light gaming you describe.
Yes, it is Merom and Vista ready. No BIOS update will be necessary -
Awesome!!! Im going to order it. (well not me, actually Im going to tell my relatives in the United States to order it and cancel the dv8000t). Thanks paladin44, if it wasnt for you, I probably wouldnt have ever found powernotebooks.com

I think you will find that it is a good choice. It has the best price/perfomance value of any 17" laptop out there right now.
It is a pleasure to help you -
Would you happen to know if there is tax for California? It could be the difference between getting 1.82 ghz or 2.0 ghz. Thanks.

Hi Flakes, we will have our hands on the Merom T7400 2.16 next week and will be doing some tests on it with the Sager NP5750, NP5760 & along some other notebooks. You will have to check back

You are way too late XOTICPC, Sager has already successfully tested them in both the NP5760 and NP5750

We will have benchs available on these models with the merom from Xotic PC first hand. We will have this CPU for testing with many models accross the board
