    i have a 320 harddrive but want to expand it to a 500. can my laptop take a harddrive this big and ill be install windows 7 pro ?????

    also i work nights and might be replacing this laptop with another gaming laptop. still like the 17 in screens but not sure which gaming laptop to get. 1,700 bucks is my limit

    Yes, a 500 GB harddrive will work without any problems. Even a 750 GB harddrive will work as I have tried already.

    Your system supports SATA Hard Drives, just make sure whatever you switch to is SATA interface.
