Recently we have been receiving an unexpected volume of NP5793 (M570RU) orders that has exceeded our inventory volume.

We are still sorting out just what orders can and cannot be shipped. Any NP5793 (M570RU) orders that cannot be shipped will be upgraded to the new NP5796 (M570TU) system with equally matched equal configurations (Including DDR2 4G to DDR3 4G). Where the new system configuration price is lower than the original order, Sager will use the new system configuration prices. Where the new configuration price is higher Sager will honor the original order price as well. This will give our customers the best possible pricing.

Current NP5796 ETA is the week of July 14th, Orange trim only.

Are we safe to assume prices won't fluctuate too much with the refresh?

There may be a little fluctuation, at this point it appears it may be minimal. We will know the confirmed pricing on July 15th. :)

Maybe but you can pretty much say that about any laptop :p

I pre-ordered my NP5790. About a week after it was delivered the NP5791 was out with the fingerprint reader and robson turbo memory. A few more months and the 5792 and 93 were out.

The point is, if you constantly wait for the next best thing, you'll be waiting forever :p Enjoy what you have and upgrade when you need, that's my motto!

Hey Justin, I was literally going to order my Sager 5793 today but xoticpc will not load. I've tried a few computers and same outcome (I live in NY, albany region). Is it because of the inventory stock of the 5793?

Also is there anyway I can put an order in for the 5796 and you can ship it the day it becomes available? If so, how long for the shipping and handling?

@ Bledadeva We had taken down the 5793 earlier today and then put it back up this afternoon with the update as I posted in this thread. Are you still not able to load our website? If you are able go ahead and place the order for the 5793 and you will be automatically transitioned into the 5796. (with the current 5793 pricing or lower)

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. :D

Edit: @Garandhero The differences are the new Montevina architecture (CPU, Chipset, Ram etc.) The video cards that are going to be offered on the 5796 have not been confirmed yet. As for the shell of the machine, the only difference between the 5793 and 5796 is the addition of ESATA and HDMI. :)

    1. The other differences will of course be the different chipset, FSB, processor, memory support (DDR3/1066MHz) and wireless support.

    2. Any orders placed for the NP5793 now will be the first NP5796's to ship...YES :D

    @Bledadeva:

No. The Montevina quads aren't finished yet. Intel has mentioned a very tentative release date of Q3/Q4 (in other words, any time between now and the end of the year) for the Extreme Edition quad core Montevina. It remains to be seen if they will meet this release date or if it will need to be pushed back. Like Paladin said, there is no solid release date.

this is actually a really good deal. right now both companies are offering a free upgrade to 4gb of ram, so if your happy with the 8800GTX I'd say buy now because when we see the new models I'm pretty sure the upgrade to 4GB of ram wont be free. Will probably save around $200 i'm guessing. I'm going to wait it out for the 9800GTX though.

Once they get released, if there is a better card that you want you can amend your order. The price guarantee will be on everything but the video card. You would then just have to pay whatever the video card upgrade is.

If it is on everything but the video card, will it apply also to the X9100 so that ordering the X9000 today would result a swap with the X9100 (when it's released, of course) without paying the difference in upgrade cost between the closest (lower performance) SR penryn and the closest Montevina penryn? I understand this could delay the system (probably until August), but I would be waiting for the better graphics card anywho.

I suppose you guys wouldn't know whats the price difference between the 9800 and 8800gtx....
Anyways, this is really amazing, like getting 4 gb of ddr3 ram for the price of 2 gb of ddr2. I suppose this is like your version of a fourth of july sell eh?
    Preordering now.

Hey Justin I'm suddenly very interested in your offer for the M570TU. unfortunately powernotebooks isn't even an option available to me and well PCMW is not the best option for me now  . I have a few questions, first, in the user manual they have 2 different chassis atleast thats what it says and secondly one of the images shows one in all black. Is that an option available now? These aren't even going to be shipping til atleast the 14/15th right? Next, do you offer anything like PCMW in that if a part ever needed replacing you would ship it out first or do i have to return the part or even the entire laptop? Being in Canada, I would like to be able to ship things more cheaply if an issue ever occurred. and Finally when the 9800M GTX does arrive, what kind of price would I be looking at to replace whatever card I originally purchase (obviously prices for the card cannot be discussed as far as I know). Will I be able to get a full refund on the card? (I'm assuming not because it will be a bit used) but will there be any kind of upgrade pathway? feel free to PM me as well. Thanks

It will remain as is listed now until it officially changes over to the 5796. It is just like pre-ordering the 5796 at 5793 pricing or better! :) (if the 5796 happens to start out with lower pricing)

the part I'm most curious about is the CPU.
If I choose the T9300 @2.5ghz now, will I get the P9500 or the T9400 both at 2.53. obviously I would prefer the p9500 but from the intel predictions it will be a few bucks more then the t9400.

The 5796, Orange Trim Only, is expected to arrive the week of the 14th and will take a few day to build & test machines. It is expected to start shipping right around the 15th. We expect to have confirmed information regarding shipment start dates at release time on the 15th.

Any changes to the system will be provided to the customer in writing before completed. :) (such as a cpu change)
