Write with normal fonts, stop increasing the size.
Donald, does this mean that the Sagers that will ship from now on are all going to be NP7593 (just asking)?

Yea, Donald said on another thread that Sager is almost done with the old casings,so the 5793 should be the only one available with either gpu: the 8700M GT and the 8800M GTX.

    What does normal mean?
This is the X9000, this is the only extreme edition CPU from the Penryn line.

With all due respect, but as far as I can tell, all of the 579x systems are "extreme;" the ones that'll have the X9000 will just be more extreme than the others (anyone see the very, very vague apparent cross-reference to Animal Farm - all animals are created equal; some are just more equal than others :D ).

You prob`ly sold your kidney but who cares, you can game extremely.
Question is, do you really need a 700+$ CPU for gaming?(not really, since you can get a quad core 2.4 at 250$).
But then again, bread is cheap these days...

It wasnt that bad, i had been checking out the alienware notebooks, and wasnt really happy with how much they were going to charge me for a notebook that wasnt as fully equiped. I ordered directly from sager and got a hell of a deal. I'll be using it for games as well as some work, but mostly i'll be gaming while at work (lol) :D
I ordered it today and sager and it will be shipped to me by tues 26 Feb.
It will be alot better then the notebook that i have been using (HP DV 5035nr)

No problem, its my valentines, fathers day, birthday and christmas gift all wrapped into on nice neat package....lol......this will be my third laptop, before my hp i had a KDS laptop, that barely got onto the net. Sager was really cool when i order the unit and i was able to keep the price under 3G.
As soon as i get it, i'll post some pics. Where can i find the benchmarking software to run on the system. (i need to shut down a co-worker that thinks his gateway he just bought is going to kill my system)

A Gateway outperform a Sager equipped with an 8800GTX and an X9000 cpu....that's cute. I'm not even sure if Gateway has a desktop out that could top your Sager.

The new QX9300 will run default @2.53GHz, 12M Cache. Will Clevo give the x2 OC-Option for QC as well? ;)

I know that his gateway wont even touch the sager. He is running a 2.0 cpu and the 8800gts video card. I've go to start looking at some games to buy. Dont have any right now as my HP really cant play anything

Yea, I know, but the fact that he used it on a laptop with the 7950GTX means it`s either the M570RU or the M570U...I know the latter one could do it, I was wondering if he managed some sort of breakthrough on a m570ru... :D

2894 out the door with shipping included, from sager. I was looking at sager's website and it listed the price at 3004, but when i called them up, they cut the price. From what i have seen its the same price as you would get from some of the other resellers.

To be Vinnie Versus, I`ll recommend the 320 GB at 5400 rpm for extrem disk space and better battery life.
    It`s just as good as a 200 gb 7200 rpm one :D

Thats cool, i dont have any thing to worry about, as far as space i have one 1tb external and two 500gb externals(i use the two 500's for work and stuff, the 1tb i just got so i'll be putting movies and games and fun stuff on it). More then likely, I'll change out the hard drive in 6 months or so.

Careful people...this guy is pulling our chain.

Sager NEVER discounts below their website pricing...please don't waste your time or theirs calling Sager to try to get a price lower than what is on their website.

The regular price for this configuration from resellers is $2,984 PLUS shipping/handling and insurance, and on the Sager website it is $3,004 PLUS shipping/handling and insurance.

I'm not pulling anybody's chain. I called Sager and spoke to Frank. When he was reading back the price i asked if they offered a military discount and he stated he was going to take care of me. I read him back the price that was listed on the page (3004) and he said that it was lower then that. I'm not going to pull anybody's chain around here, what would i gain from that. I'll even post the order sheet when it comes.

    Well jsl70, you said
Now, that is pulling our chain.

Please post the truth so that people don't get the wrong idea from your false post saying you got that configuration for $2,894 including shipping.

    True or false...you paid $3,004 + $35 shipping/handling and insurance = $3,039...less $50 military discount = $2,989 ??
