Just for further info: I bought my m570ru-u from mtech. I did not realise that ground shipping would hit me with brokerage fees while air would not - that's a mistake, there. The end price is the comparable, but air shipping gets it to you faster.

Because I imported it from the states, I got hit with PST and GST, and the brokerage fee, which kinda sucked. Took 7 days to receive my laptop from the day I ordered it.

So, if you do order from the states, go with xpress ups, not ground. Costs a bit more at shipping time, but consider that it'll save you $80 when you receive your notebook.

If you order from Eurocom, the delivery guy shouldn't charge you anything at all, as Eurocom will charge you GST at the point of sale. As has been established, if you're not in Ontario, you won't pay PST.

If I'd known everything, I'd have given Eurocom a bit more thought. The M-Tech guys were great, but getting hit with an approximately $350 bill for taxes and brokerage when I received my notebook kinda sucked.
