When I open up BisonCam and click on "take picture" it makes the shutter sound and places a folder called "Snapshot" on my desktop... but the folder is empty.

I have the same problem. With that said the video works over skype but the quality is awful. I'm going to buy me a quickcam.

is that where you have got set capture file set too.
sometimes it could be saving it in another folder but also putting an emptry folder on desktop.

when bison cap is open click file and chose another folder in say your pictures folder.

I don't really care about still pics I just need a webcam for skype video. Bison cam is pretty awful. Unless there are drivers or firmware to optimize it?
