    I was searching the forums forever on what to buy. This laptop is THE BEST. I got it, and it's incredible. Blows away the other stuff. Period. Dont buy something else. Questions?

    Can you describe how bad are the internal speakers? Also how heavy is it? like about how many textbooks would it equal to? And how loud if the fan?

    took me forever to decide.... but it kicks so much


    the internal speakers are a little quite, but i think that's a vista problem. try upgrading the sound card? that's the ONE thing i didnt upgrade, kind of wish i did now.

    compared to what i had before it is heavy (8lbs). But, compared to any other desktop replacement, this baby is light. fwiw I keep it on my stomach while i lay down a lot and i dont notice how heavy it is. i dont know how many textbooks it's equal to, i skipped class too much. the fan is quiet.

    BUY this bad boy!!!

    The soundcard upgrade is an external expresscard solution, and makes little to no difference to internal speakers, but can be easily purchased at a later date

    theriko, any idea on how to make the sound louder? on my old HP with XP it was like 2 times as loud...
