xoticpc is selling it for $75. Is it worth ?

    that price is about right.

other vendors like RJtech.com is selling it for $80.

I do not know why you would want another adapter.

    Ahh I see.

Well if you take care of it, you wont need a second one.
    - make sure to use it in a surge protector or UPS
..... not directly into an untrusted wall plug that can short it.
    - make sure to not damage the connectors

I always buy 2 adapters with my notebooks. The reason is simple. I have one adapter at home and one adapter at the office and now I don't have to carry around the heavy adapter with me.

I have 2 for my 5796, one downstairs, one upstairs in the bedroom and i gotta say, I love having 2..The notebook-cooler and mouse pad/mouse is a hand full, not have to unplug, coil and plug back in makes all the difference when I want to go game while laying in bed..hehe

    I paid the $75 hehe

Thanks guys, especially zfactor and Gophn.
I usually buy more than one adapter for my laptops. One is for home, one is for office, and one is for travel (car + air).
However the NP5797's is not the case because this machine is not for carrying around much. ;-)
