Actions like changing the volume, accessing the sound control panel, playing a youtube video, or when the User Account Panel popup appears. It's a very short but sort of loud and obnoxious buzz or static that in my opinion sounds like flatulence. It even emits when Windows 7 boots up and tries to emit the system sound. Pretty much any system sound will be overridden by this annoying sound.

So I tried disabling the system sounds by setting it to no sounds, and NO sound from any application will play as if the speakers are disabled.

Then after re-enabling the system sounds but disabling the mic, it didn't change much.

It will play normal sounds coming from a video game weirdly enough.

The Sager is brand new, just came in last Saturday and started doing this yesterday. While it first didn't do the noise, overtime it's starting to find more reasons to emit it.

If I plug in any headphones to the jack, it will make the noise as I put it in, but it emits much less often (though still there, especially if I start a youtube video). The noise never goes out through the headphones.

    Any help would be nice.

First time I've heard of a problem like this. First of all, the tried and true question, have you tried reinstalling the Audio drivers?
