I read that the Sager NP7250 12.1" laptop came with Centrino Duo (i.e. Santa Rosa) but the Sager site only has the older Core 2 Duo Processors, i was wondering if someone could point me/inform me of where to fine a place to customize this laptop w/ santa rosa (granted thats still available)

Does a Centrino Duo CPU necessarily mean it is the Santa Rosa platform?

The Santa Rosa platform is branded as "Centrino Pro" when combined with the enhanced security technologies Intel introduced with vPro and will be called "Centrino Duo" when they are not used.

The Sager NP 7250 is not an Santa Rosa Notebook.

    The processors:
    are all Napa processors(Intel Mobile 945-Socket M). T2x000 where X is odd indicates a Santa Rosa Processor(Intel Mobile 965-Socket P).

Centrino Duo "branding" applies to both the Santa Rosa and the Napa platform so just becuase it say Centrino Duo doesnt make it a Santa Rosa laptop.

Santa Rosa does not bring many improvements. It's a very small upgrade to the previous Centrino Duo platform. I suggest not using it as a "make it or break it" buying factor.
