It seems they stopped selling this model?
-
Shocking, resellers stop selling laptops that are discontinued, and Clevo stops manufacturing old models.
Anyway this is a much nicer laptop and priced even better for performance/cost.

The models have been phased out and likely on the cusp of releasing new models to replace them. We'll get product information posted to our site as soon as details are made available.
-
The "SD" variants with 960Ms instead of 860Ms are likely to replace.
-
The "SS" and "SSQ" models are discontinued, but Clevo makes them still. They are now the "SD" and "SDQ" models. They simply swapped 860M to 960M.
-
And the 960M is like a slightly OCed 860M.. Negligible OC some say..

When Sager phases out a model, often times its replaced shortly by a similar one with slightly different specs. There are a few exceptions like the NP6110 and NP8180 to name a couple. But since these are all part of the NP73XX line I would expect something to replace these mid range models.

A likewise - possibly even a seemingly identical, rather - follow up model should be available soon. Like others mentioned, this system was phased out of many resellers inventory to make room for the replacement model.
-
I'm also interested in a successor or at least refresh (even though the 960m is only minimally overclocked 860m). Despite the lack of enthusiasm in this forum for the mentioned SSQ, these seemed to turn out well in performance and fan noise.

Putting in a more powerful gpu always had other trade offs such as cost, noise and power consumption.

The 7339 was just posted on our site and is the replacement of the 7338!

NP7155 and NP7170 are also new models which look to be the models which took the place for the NP7358/7378, but they use different chassis so not quite a direct replacement.
Edit: Originally had NP7150, corrected to NP7155Last edited: Mar 12, 2015 -
Those are the new "N" series. Basically similar to the WxxxSS that the 7338, 7358 and 7378 were based on, but since they're new, they use integrated CPUs.Support.3@XOTIC PC likes this.

Is the new NP7150 clockblocked? (meaning by BIOS)
How much overclocking is possible with the default Nvidia drivers for core and memory clocks?
What about fan noise and fan behaviour? -
There is no way to tell until you get the machine.
+135MHz on core and memory slider is unlocked. No voltage adjustments possible, which limit core/memory OC anyway.
The machine launched TODAY. There is no way anybody would know the answers to that question. -
Ok... I thought XoticPC could check it out

We don't build machines on site and so nothing for us to check out unfortunately. Once people start receiving their machines they should be able to report exactly the possibilities allowed. I wouldn't expect OC options with manufacturer BIOS though. -
Sorry, you are totally right. I mixed up reseller names by confusion. Stupid me. Of course I meant Sager.

If you intend to do serious overclocking you will need to wait for an unlocked bios/vbios.
Sager NP7378 (58/38) no longer for sale?
