Hey everyone. I'm looking at getting the Sager NP8130 in the near future. (probably after the ivy refresh I'm in no hurry.) I was wondering how the super glossy "glossiness"compares to that of the Glossy Macbook pro screens.

I'm using a macbook pro from latel 2008 with a glossy screen and I find it really doesn't bother me all that much and apple's screens are superb. I was wondering how a Glossy screen compares with that, (more glossy? more reflective? About the same?)

I was looking at Alienware laptops earlier and I from watching videos it looks like their screens are WAY more reflective then my macbook pro.
Unless there's light source like RIGHT behind my macbook I don't seem to notice the reflective nature of the glossines at all.

Not really what you're asking about, but I got the 95% gamut matte screen, and when I compare it to my GF's matte macbook air it looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. By this I mean colours and viewing angles. I look at my screen from any angle and its perfect, but hers distorts even if we're lying in bed watching movies.

I've been curious about the screen upgrades and post gives something tangible to the upgrades. Looking at pictures online reminds me of blu-ray advertisements with all the explosions in SD.

A Mac laptop can't even play in the same league as the Sager can with it's possible upgrades, even it's stock glossy is better than the original's MPB's stock screen. That is the 8130/8150, and yes it's based on my opinion my brother owns 3 MBP.
