    Hello, (New to the forum)

I've been looking at the forum for any third party AC Adapter the one that Sager offer for my 8130 is about 80? (Sounds reasonable but I'm currently a broke college student atm)

I've been seeing people saying 120W Kensington or this Dell verison... on the forum but I don't know if I should try and buy one of them.

Are there any other type of recommended charger for my NP8130?

    Hey pk1991kp!

Although you can get away with using other aftermarket adapters, it's generally not advised. Some systems have come into us with partially melted DC jacks and a universal/aftermarket adapter, and were consequently deemed out of warranty at that point as a result.

Just food for thought! Many users use them without any hiccups as well.

OEM are the best to stick with. If you got a 3rd party one and it did cause damage as Prostar mentioned the money you saved on the AC adapter wouldnt have been worth it if you had to replace your computer.
