I recently purchased a Sager NP8130 and I am extremely pleased with it. However, I do have a few questions.

First, I would like to install another wireless card. The laptop came with the stock half size wireless card. I would like to replace it with my full size card from my previous laptop. While the NP8130 has two mini pcie slots supporting a half and a full size, the antennae cables are attached to the half size slot. I'm unable to attach them to the my card in the full size slot. Is there a way to get the full size card connected?

Second, is it possible to remove the Sager logo on the back of the hood? Could it be reattached?

Finally, is there a way to disable hyperthreading? I don't think I see a BIOS option.

    Thanks

The Sager logo is glued on with a special backing adhesive but the chrome foil letters are very fragile. I was cleaning my lid with rubbing alcohol and got some of the letters to move slightly but I moved them back. They are totally removable but placing them back on may prove difficult as you'll break the adhesive or might bend the letters and they will be hard to line up again.

On the hyperthreading, I was curious about this a while ago with my first "i" processor. I don't think you can disable it and generally, it seems you wouldn't want to. Unlike desktops, or previous gen processors, everything is already optimized for power efficiency / heat / other reasons you might want to disable HT.

On your full size wireless card, I'm guessing you mean the cables aren't long enough right? You'd have to tear things down a little bit more (maybe more than it's worth) to see if the cables are long enough to route to the bottom underside where the full size card goes.
