All have the same Clevo casing and same spec but different builders and all 3 etch their own markings/name on the top lid.

    Which is better?

I believe they're all exactly the same PC. You're basically just choosing a reseller.

Hi, they're all built on the Clevo P151HM1, so they're essentially the same notebook. Other factors you might look at when deciding who to purchase from, include: pricing, support, warranty and/or even which branding you prefer.

Here's some info on our company.

Pricing: We have a 100% Low Price Guarantee, so we will match and/or beat any price of an equally configured system.
Support: All of our support is based 100% in the USA. You can read our customer reviews on resellerratings.com and view our flawless satisfaction record on bbb.org.
Warranty: We offer a Double Backed Warranty Guarantee, which gives you just as much protection as you will receive from any other reseller. And contrary to the misinformation you might have read on another site, our RMA service is just as fast as any company, including Sager.
Branding: Well, come on. MALIBAL. It sort of speaks for itself. :D

If you have any particular questions, please feel free to contact us via PM, email, live chat or phone and we'll be glad to help out. :)

They are identical in terms of hardware but as others have said, the difference is what kind of customer support you get, the discounts you can get from them, and differences in shipping costs.

The only actual empirical difference is the brand on the lid. Malibal has a blank lid IIRC, Prostar has their logo in the top corner (it's pretty nice there actually), Sager has their logo in the center. The only one I wouldn't order because of ugly branding is the Eurocom which has a gross logo in the middle.

Our P151HM1 / 8130, P150HM / 8150 and P170HM / 8170 all come with a MALIBAL electroform nameplate on the lid. It looks like the wordmark in my signature minus the NBR Crew tagline.

For the record, our logo (on the Lotus P150HM) will come like the one listed in this user review on the forums:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sag...7-sager-8150-malibal-lotus-p150hm-review.html

It's minimal, but still not a blank lid. Hope this helps :)

Does the word "Malibal" have a particular meaning? Thanks.

Yes, you're right. I confused yours with another one that was blank. Kobalt? I don't like the Malibal logo that is also placed on the front of the bezel beneath the screen but that is just a matter of personal taste. I also don't like the font and spacing. It's silly but I would go for another reseller based purely on this sort of thing because if I don't like the logo on my laptop, I've been known to pry them off and cover it up or make my own logo. I have damaged the lids of laptops I used to own :) My favorites are the blank ones or the Prostar one in the corner. Sager is nice too but I wish it was in the corner.

We can actually customize it depending on the customer's preference. They can get it with the MALIBAL nameplate on the lid only, on the screen bezel only, on the lid and on the screen bezel, or no nameplate at all! :)

Oh that's good to know. Customizability and choice is always the most important thing for the customer.

@ the op, also keep in mind very few select resellers also bundle Lifetime 24/7 Telephone Support with the purchase. Although you may not need it, some find it handy if you are having a problem at 2 in the am Sunday Morning or whenever the need arises. You will find only a select couple resellers that bundle this service.

In regards to the machine they would be close to the same. Mythlogic is the only company that builds them, malibal is built @ Sager but is not Sager Branded.
