My CPU (I think) fan runs at full blast constantly, even during post. It started last night while gaming and never stopped. Although my BIOS was already up to date I installed the latest again hoping that would fix it. Any idea whats going on and how I can shut this loud thing up?

My temps are fine. I went to bed last night hoping when I woke up this would be a bad dream but even after being off for 8 hours the fan kicked on high as soon as I hit the power button. I've blown out the fans but I'll give it a more thorough blowing.

Thanks hizzaah! I guess I half-assed the first time I pulled out the canned air. I blew it out again, multiple times and now it's fine.

it's not a secret it's in the p150hm manual ... when you press fn + 1 you push the fan to their max speed, this can be helpful in case of overclocking.

Lol nice. I am reading through the whole NP9150EM manual before I get the laptop in the mail. A LOT of stuff I have learned that would help a lot, mainly the fact that the drivers need to be installed in the order listed.
