Hi guys. Two weeks ago I bought a brand new np8150(2630qm + 6970 + 4gb ram) and I am really pleased with the laptop so far. However a week ago I decided to flash the bios of the notebook so I went to the local computer service, but now I am having a really strange problem. When the AC adapter isn't plugged in the cpu won't go over 1,29 GHZ even on High performance power plan ( i tried several games and the everest stress test). However when I plug in the AC the cpu easily goes to 2.6Ghz (which I think is the maximum). It is not a big problem, because the battery won't last for more than 30 min. but it is really annoying. Has anyone else encountered such a problem ?

P.S Sorry for my bad english, but it's not my native language :)

Are you sure that was not before BIOS update also?

Generally speaking, due to the power supplied by the battery that is not uncommon. I assume this was happening before the BIOS update. Did you happen to check it then?

Yes I am absolutely sure that there was no such problem before the update. Maybe I didn't say something important - the original bios was Sager, now I updated it from Clevo site.
Also in the power options there is cpu power management with "minimum processor state on battery/plugged in" and "maximum processor state battery/plugged in". In the mode I use (high performance) they are all set to 100%.
