i dont think the first one will work as its for a alienware and if its a dell card it wont work in a clevo even after a vbios flash.

the second one doesnt say where the card originated so be careful as they say no refund for compatibility problems.

Why won't an alienware one work? I mean isn't a graphics card a graphics card? This is why I'm asking of course though haha.

no idea. only going by what ive read on here in the past.

just done a search and found 2 replys said it could work on older cards but if the flash went wrong it would totally brick the card.

best wait for the experts to reply and confirm/deny.

Notebook cards and motherboards are much more proprietary; they're not like their more standardized desktop counterparts. Usually it's the firmware that's the hold up.

No need to be sorry. :) Since you're new to it all, your best plan of attack will be to find a Clevo card. With a Clevo card, you won't need to worry about compatibility or flashing as long as the card is in working order. From there, all that you'll have to work through is physically installing it. If you find a card and you're not sure of its compatibility, you are always welcome to ask the seller too.
