Hey guys, I am trying to run surround sound through digital output on my sound blaster x-fi mb5. However when I change the audio output to digital output, the options where I can choose between 2.1 or 5.1 grays out and I can't access it:

Furthermore, I have seen people with the same problem in some forums and some of them have an option for dts with digital output in the realtek control panel, however mine has only this:

As you see, realtek also mistakes the digital output for headphones (I was playing around and had another version of realtek, which actually recognized the digital output but still didn't have any options for surround).

Last but not least, I must mention that I installed windows media center and ran an audio test and it was absolutely 5.1. So as I see the things, the problem must be in the software and not in the hardware.

    Any help will be appreciated!

You must try with different Realtek drivers versions. Current one is downloaded by Win10 automatic drivers updater?
