    Hello everyone,

So I recently purchased a brand new Sager laptop ( Sager NP8172-S (Clevo P670RP6)) and I've been having a really irritating issue with it.
I can connect all and any Bluetooth devices to it, and my headset is primarily the device I use. However, I can not, for the life of me, figure out how to use both my Bluetooth mic AND Bluetooth audio!
Apparently I can only use one at a time!?

Is anyone having an similar issues and how did you resolve them?

Also, Sager and some other vendors have completely removed my model of computer from their websites. My laptop is less than 6 months old and it is really making me upset.

What Bluetooth card do you have - Intel or Killer? The NP8174 is the same form factor as the 8172 - only difference is Kaby Lake CPU versus the Skylake you have.

It has been refreshed/replaced by the HP model, but you should still receive support for it.

Are they both set to the default recording and playback devices in the Windows audio properties?

    Hey Saturnotaku,

I'm pretty sure it's the Intel option. Haven't changed it.

    Hello Prostar Computer,

I just got word from a Sager rep, thanks for the info though.

As for your second inquiry, when I connect my Bose QC 35s, it automatically connects two SEPARATE devices: Bose QC 35 - Stereo & Bose QC 35 - Hands-Free. One takes precendence over the other depending on which one is in use (usually the Hands Free due to constant microphone pickup).

    Hi there.

Good to hear that Sager is taking care of you. As for the technical issue you're experiencing, it is strange... the playback device should not override the recording device. Just so our ducks are lined up, is this where you're checking:

So this is what I see on my screen, before changing some settings for the most comfortable experience.

For the time being, I have to completely disable the Headset or I'll receive this terrible feedback sound.
For the mean time, I am forced to use my headphones only for audio output and my laptop's mic for audio input. This is pretty inconvenient due to how often I use my microphone.

Did you make sure your wireless/BT drivers (it's the same card that provides this) are up to date?

    Hey Meaker,

All my drivers are up to date on the BT side.
I'm also having an issue with my microphone jack not working. For some reason, my laptop only detected the built-in mic and no other. Do you know why?
