Does anyone know a custom reseller who would offer the dual 580m graphics cards?

NP8180 can't power those two cards, too much power draw.

It's said that the motherboard can't handle that much wattage, so it would be very dangerous to try out a higher rated power adapter as well.

Yup, even with a 300W power adapter there is too much power draw across the motherboard and it doesn't work very well at all under load.

You can also look at the NP7280 which has 580M in SLI available.
