Hello folks, 3 months ago I acquired an NP8250 notebook from Reflexnotebooks (they don't have anything to do with issue, just to point it out) and I recently started to experience a exponential curve of problems with it.
I ordered the notebook with Windows 8, HD8970m and IC Diamond Thermal, besides them all the other specs are standard.
I will describe the cronology of the events, I don't think all of them are related at all but it is better just to register all of them so you guys could take your own conclusions.
The first problems started when I update to Windows 8.1, I had the issue of the lack of compatibility of the AMD graphics with the new windows. This however I manage to solve without any problems at all. But being able to use the computer again I noticed some slowness of the system on the overall use compared to its previous performance, like opening some applications, startup loading, etc.. But this was kinda slightly noticeable so I didn't cared about it at all.
After some days the real problems started to knock my door, on high demanding games such as COD:Ghosts, Batman:Arkaham Origins and AC4, my computer started to freeze after some playing time. The problem was the way it was freezing: EVERYTHING just stopped working, mouse pointer didn't moved, sound stopped playing and no keyboard shortcut such as ctrl-alt-del were working at all, summing all up the entire system was freezing in such a way that my option was to turn the computer off directly from the button every time this problem happened (trust me I have tried everything to leave freeze mode besides turning off).
So I gave up on gaming because I had alot of work to do and I decided to solve the problem later. After a very few days this problem extended itself -and became more frequent- to medium and then low demanding processes, like basically everything that didn't included games like youtube, programming applications and for last simply browsing the internet or doing anything else.
Now, by today morning precisely, my computer seems to be pretty much dead, as when I turn it on the keyboards turn on after some seconds and the fans starts on full load, after 5 seconds the notebook turns off without the screen even turning on. So I can't sager logo and anything at all.
What I instantly thought when the gaming problems started as most of you are pretty sure about is overheating the processor/GPU. I tried to use many different softwares to track the temperatures of them but none of them manage to display any sensor probably because of lack of compatibility with the system, the only one that seemed to work at the beginning was Coretemp, which was very well suggested by Reflexnotebook staff. So I started to track and nothing seemed wrong, the computer was still freezing with a range of 50-60 of the CPU Core temps. Unfortunately, after a day or two of use Coretemp started to bug my system completely by slowing it to extreme point that I couldn't even close the application with the task manager, so I had to gave up using it.
I would ask you if you guys know what could been causing all this trouble and some advices on how I can deal with it, I don't have any tools so I don't want to open the notebook, and besides it is pretty new yet (3 months). I had an awful experience with Sager concerning all these issues but I am still willing to give it a chance because of so many good reviews about it here. I am considering either asking for a repair/new notebook or a complete refund of it, but if I solve them I rather to keep it without sending it away.
As soon as I come back home I will try to turn it on to see if anything changes at all and update the topic.
If you had the patience to read everything I really appreciate that.
Thanks!

welcome to nbr
that doesnt sound good.
one question, what hard drive have you got. a spindle or ssd. that sure does sound like some bad sectors on the drive but i could be wrong as its still new.
might as well tell us how much ram you have as well so we have the full picture.
does the same thing happen when you are running on only battery?
while we wait for someone thats not as tired as me to give advice you can find lots of monitoring software in my sig below. i recommend hwinfo64 and gpuz. -
Remove the ac adaptor, and the battery, wait a bit, then plug just the ac adaptor in and try to turn it on. If that fails, try with just the battery, and not the ac adaptor. If you get it running try a memory test program. You may want to try one memory card at a time, and make sure they are fully seated. Also try safe mode in Windows. Also scan your drives for errors. And you may try going back to the installed Windows with the installed drivers.

yea none of these worked, the computer wont start up by any means
-
actually start again.
do what ajnindlo said above but try a EC reset.
remove mains cable and battery and press power button for 20-30 seconds.
plug just mains cable in and try to boot as normal.
if that doesnt work remove mains cable and press power button again for 20-30 seconds.
now put battery in and try to turn on.
as mentioned for ram. use mem test from my signature below. this could take hours.
Sager NP8250 doesnt turn on anymore. Would greatly appreciate some advices
