Hi guys, I just recently purchased the above mentions model and am wondering if the fans activating at around 55 o celcius and turning off at 40 o celcius is normal for this model. I have seen other discussions mentioning this issue, with some people saying that this only happens to a few certain laptops ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/750368-my-first-clevo-p150sm-questions.html) and that a bios update would fix it. I currently have the latest bios and EC versions (1.03.03 versions) and the fans appear to still act in the same manner. The ramp up noise when the fan first turns on is very noticeable, and am wondering if it's common, and that if it isn't, is there a fix for it?

My P150SM-A behaves in the same manner. I have been told it's normal.

Ok, gotcha. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the reply.

That sounds about right.

This is normal, but some managed to unlock a "silent" profile in hotkey, which make the fan always spinning, but at low speed.
Personnaly i don't acheived the trick
Check the P150Sm lounge for more informations

If its anythin like the p150EM screens you can rest assured you will have no issues for viewing angles, I use mine far away and almost always at 70 or 60 degress angles, because its my sec display after my 50 plasma, and never complained or nuttin

The viewing angles are OK for the non 95% model. Nothing spectacular, because my custom ICM profile looks completely off when i look under or above the monitor. Just a bit of color shift when you move your head.

The viewing angles are pretty similar on the 95% panel, it still is a TN type after all.

Thanks! -
